We believe everyone deserves a taste of authentic Southside Flavor, no matter the distance. Shipping smoked meat is a serious process—it requires speed, precision, and plenty of insulation to guarantee that the quality and safety meet the Syndicate standard.

Shipping & Packaging Details
We ship all smoked meats chilled or frozen to preserve peak flavor, tenderness, and food safety during transit.

• Insulated Boxes: Every order is packaged in heavy-duty, insulated shipping boxes.

• Frozen Gel Packs: We use commercial-grade frozen gel packs (or dry ice, depending on the cut) to maintain a cold temperature below 40°F throughout the shipping process.

• Vacuum Sealing: All cuts are vacuum-sealed immediately after cooling to lock in the smoke flavor and natural moisture, ensuring maximum freshness upon arrival.

Shipping Schedule & Speed
Due to the perishable nature of our product, we only ship orders on specific days to avoid having your precious cargo sit in a warehouse over the weekend.

• Shipping Days: Orders are typically shipped Monday through Wednesday. Orders placed late in the week will be shipped the following Monday.

• Shipping Speed: We only use Expedited Shipping (e.g., 1-day or 2-day delivery). We will not risk the quality of our smoke with slower service.

• Tracking: Once your order hits the road, we'll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey right to your door.
   

When Your Meat Arrives
We've done our part; now it's your turn to handle the final steps!

• Inspect Immediately: Please open your package immediately upon arrival and inspect the meat.

• Handling: The contents should arrive cold (below 40°F), or partially frozen. If the meat arrives warm (above 40°F), do not consume it. Please contact us immediately.

• Storage: We recommend putting your smoked meat in the refrigerator immediately (consume within 3–5 days) or placing it straight into the freezer (lasts up to 6 months) to enjoy later. Reheating instructions will be included with your order.

 Shipping Cost & Guarantee
Shipping smoked meat requires premium service and specialized packaging, and the cost reflects that commitment to quality and safety.

• Calculated Cost: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, the destination, and the required expedited service.

• Our Guarantee: We guarantee that your smoked meat will arrive safe and cold. If you believe your order was compromised during shipping, please take a photo of the contents and packaging and contact us within 4 hours of delivery.

Having said that, a Shipping Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers. It is the legal framework for presenting your obligations to your customers, but also to address different possible scenarios that may occur, and what happens in each and every case.

You may benefit because people may be likely to shop with you if you have a clear Shipping Policy in place since there won't be any questions about your shipping timeframes or processes.
